Western Pleasure Set

I finished this one up earlier today, and snapped some photos with my brand new camera. I walked into Best Buy to "Just Look", and walked out with a Nikon D60! I'm in love with it, and am considering giving it a name, hehe. That's saying something, since the only inanimate objects with names in my room are my horses!

On to the tack...I do have a quick caveat. The stirrups ARE short, because it was made to fit one of Breyer's not-quite-32nd-scale-but-labeled-that-way riders at the customer's request.

Traditional Scale Tack

I usually stick to my minis...much easier for me to work in! However, I dabble in traditional scale tack once in a while. My current (and unfinished) project is an english saddle along the lines of a GP.

Sorry for the terrible photo. I'm reasonably pleased with it, although a few nit-picky things could be changed. I'd actually feel safe photoshowing this one, though, so that's progress! It might even survive novice live shows, although I wouldn't hold my breath.
